Where are we heading?

You know what, it is nice to have a space where you can just pour out your thoughts just the way they flow .... but everyone need not agree with this or might be no one agrees with what you think. How does that matter to you, it is just a place to post your free thoughts ..... Wow! what a feeling! Just being the true SELF - awesome :-). You would not be a hypocrite or have a mask in your words but being yourself there .....

Don't you think technology is actually creating voidness and also increasing the gap between two individuals - many reasons for it; like
- people have started interacting with virtual identities and feel more solace; as the anonymity help them to be themselves - be it good or bad!
- virtual interactions - like SMS, emails rather than a face to face talk; this leads to masking your real emotion and can always make up statements and fake things. Even if you convey true emotions, everyone need not understand the depth of it and some would not even understand.

And with much other influence, we actually lose our individuality without our realization! Relationships are so superficial and not deep enough to sustain and have no lasting relationships! Where are we heading to? Do all of us understand this?

Using the “TRUE Urself” word, I would say first one needs to be true to oneself and then true to others. If people were so then we would not have virtual identities.
But then having said that, at times it necessitates one to not be the true oneself. Why- could be to diffuse a situation, not let something get even worse or better to let go of something bad. So in such situations one needs to conceal the true self, but at the same time ensure that ur not harming the other person..

Not everybody would lose their identities, it is only the weak, loose characters who lose it. Other influences do play their part but one needs to be strong enough to not get affected by it.
U would know very well that even though a sandalwood tree is surrounded by poisonous snakes it still retains its properties and does not lose its identity.

R/ships become superficial when one of the involved party in the r/ship becomes selfish, thinks only about self, does not think about the other person in the r/ship.
R/ships r becoming weak coz individuals themselves r becoming weak, self takes prominence over others, they look at things their way, do not think from others(the other person in the r/ship) shoes, people crave for easy way out, by hook or crook they want things, materialism is what people r after, concern for the other is not there, self-gratification takes precedence at the cost of other/others…Technology is only a reason people use to blame, they make technology a scapegoat, why is that people use virtual identies, coz they want to gratify that ego in themselves, they want to feel powerful, great, others to praise them, impress others etc..
Btw tell me when is it we last meet though we r on the same building but hasn’t technology helped both of us to be in constant touch. I still remember when we were both on the same floor, everyday u stopping by my desk speak a word or 2, that smiling face of urs, catching up on a game of TT etc…
Thru technology r we not true to each other, do we mask feelings, nope why – coz we have mutual respect for each other, r there for each other – how is that – coz we r true to urselves. So the differentiating thing is one needs to be “true to oneself and then true to others”, since individuals have changed, they use technology to mask it.
So it is not technology that is creating voidness but the voidness in the human hearts that is causing the gap between individuals.
Technology is like the knife – can be used to cut an apple or kill somebody, for what it is used depends on the person holding it….
Man that was quite an amount of writing/ it is almost an extempore, an instant write-up kindly bear with the sentence structuring …………
